FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — An eight-year-old sustained serious injuries after being attacked by a group of dogs in Frankfort, according to police.
The Frankfort Police Department said officers and EMS personnel responded to a residence on Elkhorn Drive on Saturday for reports of a juvenile who was attacked by four American Bulldogs at a family member’s house.
According to authorities, the juvenile was transported to the hospital by EMS to be treated for serious injuries from animal bites. The four dogs were taken to the Franklin County Humane Society and placed in quarantine.
Frankfort police have launched an investigation into the incident and charges are expected to be filed.
