LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — LexArts is celebrating its 50th anniversary by hosting a celebration, and along with it, a chance for bourbon enthusiasts to get their hands on a rare selection.

In celebration of the milestone, the team at LexArts received a full barrel of “Private Select” Maker’s Mark bourbon which has yielded over 200 750ml bottles. They then called upon 100 area artists to paint two bottles a piece.

The 200 bottles will be on display at the LexArts 50th Anniversary Celebration on what they call the “Whiskey Wall of Wonder” on Dec. 2 at Keeneland. Tickets for the event can be purchased at one.bidpal.net/lexartscelebration.

The first 100 “painted, decorated, re-imagined, and adorned bottles” will be available for purchase at the event. The remainder will be auctioned off online through this link.
