LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Jan. 11, Kentucky State Police (KSP) received a call from Mount Sterling Police Department regarding an assault in Mount Sterling.

Troopers were able to obtain arrest warrants for Richard J. Perri on Jan. 14, according to KSP.

Perri is charged with first-degree strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and three counts of wanton endangerment. Perri was lodged in the Rowan County Detention Center.

This investigation is still ongoing.
