LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – The individual who was said to have gone off the trail was rescued by boat. FOX 56 has been told they did not experience any life-threatening injuries and the ones observed were considered minor.

Both individuals have been transported to local area hospitals.

A large emergency vehicle presence is being reported at the 3990 block of Raven Run Way.

Dispatchers have confirmed there are at least 14 emergency vehicles gathered at the Raven Run Nature Sanctuary.

Major Jessica Bowman confirmed that at 3:40 p.m. emergency dispatch was called for someone who has “gone off the trail” and that crews are working to get to the individual’s location and better assess their injuries.

FOX 56 has also confirmed there is another unconscious individual and crews are working to remove the individual from the trail.
