LEXINGTON Ky. (FOX 56) – The Fayette County Coroner’s Office officially identified the victim as 26-year-old Kobby Lee Martin. Martin was determined to have been killed by multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigation into this is still ongoing. The coroner’s office has no further information to release at this time.
Thursday, Jan. 7, police officers and the Lexington Fire Department responded to a tip of a man down in the 1700 block of Cantrill Drive.
Upon arrival, officers found a 27-year-old man lying in the road with a gunshot wound. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Resident’s living in the area are being asked to check their surveillance videos.
The man’s name will be released by the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
