LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One person has been arrested after a bank robbery on Monday.
Police said the whole thing happened quickly—the suspect walked in, demanded cash, and walked out, making off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Utilizing the Real Time Intelligence Center, the Flock license plate reader system, and traffic cameras, officers said they were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle and take him into custody.
According to Lexington Police, 39-year-old Michael Gilbert was arrested on Tuesday and charged with first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
