LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The 47th annual Woodland Art Fair kicked off Saturday at Woodland Park in Lexington.
The two-day event features more than 180 booths housing jewelry, metal, painting, photography, printing, wood, and other mediums. Each booth at the fair is juried through a selection process by the Lexington Art League. On top of the artist’s boots, people can enjoy live music, dance performances, and dozens of food and drink vendors from Lexington and around the region.

Lexington Parks and Recreation officials said there is plenty to do for all ages.
“It’s just a hugely popular event. It’s rare in Lexington to gather this many artists in so many mediums of painting, ceramics, and mixed media. There are, you know, brooms and jewelry, beautiful jewelry, yard art, and different clothing. And there’s something for everybody,” said Jessica Piersol, special events manager for Lexington Parks and Recreation.
