LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Get your appetite ready, Lexington! The Crave Food and Music Festival is coming back to Masterson Station.

The Crave Food and Music Festival is Lexington’s biggest celebration of “locally crafted fare,” featuring around 40 food vendors, from fine dining to food trucks, over two days.

Consider FOX 56 as your guide to the weekend.

Tickets and Crave Bucks

There are a variety of ticketing tiers and “crave bucks” for the weekend, but single-day tickets and weekend passes will be available at the festival gates.

Passes range from $10 to $15, but Crave also offers five different ticket packages with “crave bucks” included. But why should you need those?

Crave bucks are the festival’s form of currency. No cash or credit cards will be accepted on-site from food vendors, but you can add them to any pass or opt for a package. Like the “Family Pack,” which is perfect for a family or group of four, according to Crave, for $135 you’ll receive four weekend passes and 125 Crave bucks.

According to CRAVE, the average adult will use anywhere from $30 to $40 in CRAVE bucks.

The festivities begin at noon on Aug. 26 and 27, and throughout the day, foodies can enjoy cooking demos, live music, cook-offs, a car show, bourbon tastings, and plenty of activities for the kids.

The Crave Kitchen Stage will feature two full days of interactive culinary programming hosted by special guests like Food Network’s Jacki Joseph and Jason Smith, cooking demos from Black Soil, a mimosa brunch, and a Burger Battle cook-off.

The Live Green Lexington Kids Zone, sponsored by Lexington’s Department of Environmental Quality and Public Works, will host a Crave scavenger hunt, corn hole, games, and more.

The Crave Classic Car Show will be going on all weekend from 1 to 5 p.m., featuring a fleet of classic cars and trucks. Be sure to vote for your favorite for the People’s Choice Awards! You can still participate, just click here to enter.

Crave hosts two full days of diverse regional music, and your ticket is included with admission! From funk, soul, and bluegrass to Americana, blues, and jazz, the music schedule has something for everyone! You can view the lineup and schedule here.

On Saturday at 5:30 p.m., the Crave Kitchen Stage will host a “Taste the House Flavors of Heaven Hill” bourbon tasting, featuring Haven Hill Whiskey brand ambassador Bernie Lubbers. However, this guided bourbon flight is a ticketed, limited-capacity event. Reserve your spot now!
