MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Madison Central High School’s wrestling coach is facing multiple charges following an alleged domestic dispute, according to court documents.
Chad Fyffe, 34, was arrested Sunday and charged with terroristic threatening, unlawful imprisonment, and domestic violence assault.
According to the arrest citation, officers were called to Fyffe’s residence by his wife at 1 a.m. Sunday for reports of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers found Fyffe standing outside holding a handgun in the air while his wife was hiding behind the home.

Authorities said the two individuals got into an argument, and Fyffe allegedly assaulted his wife, threatened to kill her multiple times, and physically restrained her on a bed in the residence.
Officers noted Fyffe’s wife had visible bruising and swelling on her face and neck.
Fyffe was under the influence at the time of arrest and was unable to make a clear statement, according to police.
He is lodged in the Madison County Detention Center.
