LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A new gourmet biscuit place is opening on Wednesday, and the Lexington cuisine scene is about to get more delicious.

Maple Street Biscuits is bringing its renowned Squawking Goat biscuit to Nicholasville Road, taking over where the old O’Charleys once stood at 2270 Nicholasville Road.

The Squawking Goat, as featured on the Food Network, features battered chicken strips, toasted goat cheese, and “scratch-made, sweet-not-spicy” pepper jelly on a fresh-made biscuit.

Aside from an assortment of gourmet biscuits and four biscuit and gravy options, MSB features waffles, fritaffles, and more.

MSB began in 2012 offering fresh ingredients, a “quirky take on comfort food,” and a sense of community that will take every breakfast, lunch, and catering event and leave the customer both full and fulfilled.
