LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – A Nicholasville bakery is recovering after someone broke in and stole kitchen equipment.

Cinnamon Nutmeg & Clove bakery & Deli just bounced back from a fire in December and is set to re-open in two weeks.

Owners said this incident won’t delay the grand opening but will cause major setbacks to the bakery’s operations.

The stolen items include $10,000 worth of countertops and ventilation pipes, essential to expanding the bakery’s kitchen.

Owner Lana Rowland caught images on camera of a white or silver truck leaving with her property.

Rowland plans to press charges if able to identify those involved.

“Because when I find them, and they are identified. I will prosecute them, because even though it was sitting outside, this is still my property, and this is still private property … nobody has a right to take my security away from me,” Rowland said.

This comes just one day after Magee’s Baking Co. in Lexington reported a burglary where its safe was stolen. The owner also said there was a white or silver truck captured on Magee’s cameras.
