LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Authorities are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian that happened Monday night.

FOX 56 News learned the wreck happened on Winchester Road near East Loudon.

The Lexington Police Department told FOX 56 that officers responded to a call about a crash involving a pedestrian around 8:30 p.m., and when police arrived, the victim was already dead.

Winchester Road was temporarily closed between Loudon Avenue and Strader Drive while police investigated.

The Fayette County Coroner identified the pedestrian as 60-year-old Trina Gail Tolson, of Lexington.
