LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Fayette County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as 57-year-old Lisa Michelle Walls.

According to the coroner’s report, Walls was declared dead at 9:40 p.m. as a result of multiple blunt-force trauma injuries.

Lexington police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead on Richmond Road.

The police were called out near the intersection of Mt. Tabor Road and Richmond Road late Friday after receiving reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle.

At the scene, the police said they found a person dead in the road near Speedway.

The coroner was called to the scene but the identity of the deceased has not been released at this time.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
