LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The University of Kentucky Police Department is investigating a sexual assault case that happened over the weekend.

The department said it received a report Monday that the incident happened Saturday and Sunday at the suspect’s off-campus home and again at the victim’s dorm.

Authorities said both people are UK students, and they know each other.

The UK police are investigating and providing resources and support to those involved in order to keep the campus safe. The department is reminding victims of sexual assault who would like help to call the UK police to speak with an advocate.
