LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington police released more information on Wednesday regarding a deadly pedestrian hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle.

Police said it happened around 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15, when a motorcycle hit a pedestrian at the intersection of New Circle Road and Russell Cave Road and left the scene.

The Fayette County Coroner’s Office identified 37-year-old Matthew Austin Druin as the pedestrian. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.

On Wednesday, detectives released more information about the motorcycle, describing it as a black Harley-Davidson Road King made in 2002 or after. It reportedly had aftermarket headlights, passing lights, and a tinted front windshield with damage.
