LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Publix Super Markets has announced a second location being opened in Lexington.

The new store, Publix at Citation Point, will be opened at the southeast corner of Georgetown Road and Citation Boulevard.

The store will be approximately 46,000 square feet in size.

By the end of 2024, Publix will open its first Lexington location in the Fountains of Palomar area at the northwest corner of Man O’ War Boulevard and Harrodsburg Road.

There is currently no anticipated opening date for the second location.
