LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month, the Lexington Humane Society said.
To celebrate, they’ve highlighted a longtime resident who needs a good home.
Meet James; he’s a 7-year-old pit bull mix who’s been in the care of the Lexington Humane Society on and off since 2019.

The organization said James came in as a stray and was initially very timid. But over the years, he’s become a “magnificent” pup.
“He is amazing on a leash and loves attention,” LHS said. “Once he warms up to you, he’ll become your most loyal companion.”
James needs a loving and patient forever home and does well with children.

“With your help, James can finally leave the shelter and become the happy dog he was always meant to be,” LHS said.
