WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The man accused of killing a 3-year-old in Whitley County has now been indicted for his alleged connection to the 2020 death of a 6-month-old in another county.

According to an indictment filed on Aug. 3, Jordan Taylor, of Corbin, has been charged in connection with the July 2020 death of a 6-month-old in Clay County. The indictment accuses Taylor of smothering the infant.

In February 2023, according to court records, Taylor was charged with murder, sodomization, and strangulation of a 3-year-old girl.

Taylor’s girlfriend and mother of the 3-year-old, Alexandra Ward, was also charged with complicity in murder and complicity in strangulation in the case.
