MOUNT VERNON, Ky. (WDKY) – Drivers may see delays traveling south on Interstate 75 in Rockcastle County after a tractor-trailer caught fire Wednesday afternoon.

The Mount Vernon Fire Department and the Brodhead Fire Department are two of the emergency responders working the fire.

The vehicle was fully engulfed when crews arrived.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says southbound lanes are shut down at the 63 mile marker.
