LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Lexington police are investigating three overnight robberies that happened on Sunday that left one individual injured.

According to the police, Lex Liquors on Richmond Road was robbed just after midnight, when a Black male approached and said he had a gun. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen.

The police told FOX 56 that around 3:45 a.m., the Speedway gas station on Tates Creek Road was also robbed. An unidentified Black male was said to have attacked an employee working the night shift, leaving them with non-life-threatening injuries. Another undisclosed sum of money was reportedly stolen.

Just after 6 a.m., a robbery was reported near the Shell gas station in the 2600 block of Abigail Way. The police said a couple was approached by a Black male who proceeded to steal two personal items from them.
