DANVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officials responded to a call in Danville about “suspicious activity” resulting in the arrest of a woman on Tuesday.

The Boyle County Sheriffs Office and Danville Police received a call about suspicious activity in a Walmart parking lot. When officials ran the license plate of the vehicle, it came back as a stolen car from Lexington, according to the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies later found the suspicious woman, Molly Pierce from Nicholasville, at the Muphy USA gas station next to the Walmart near Hustonville Road.

Pierce had a warrant for her arrest, and the deputies decided to search her.

They found nearly 11.8 ounces of methamphetamine, 20 grams of heroin, 29 grams of cocaine, 6 Suboxone pills, $927, and the keys to the stolen vehicle in her personal bag, the sheriff’s office reported.

Police also found a stolen handgun in the car.

Danville police reviewed surveillance video from Walmart showing Pierce parking the stolen vehicle and getting out.
