LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – The Frederick Douglass Broncos (15-0) wrapped up an undefeated season with its first State Title in school history, defeating No. 8 Bowling Green 28-7 at Kroger Field.

Cole Carpenter threw for three touchdowns for FD. Bowling Green finished 12-3.

After going into halftime tied 7-7, the Broncos scored 21 unanswered points in the second half. The third time is a charm for the Broncos after reaching the state title game the last two seasons but losing them both.
