The contenders for the Aug. 22 Home Team Play of the Week feature athletes from Madison Southern High School, Bourbon County High School, and Paris High School.
The first nominee for play of the week comes from Madison Southern with an absolute bomb from Ethan Woods to senior wide receiver Jayshaun Ethridge to put the Eagles inside the five-yard mark and set up an easy touchdown.
The second nominee for play of the week comes from Bourbon County. Marcus Floyd was doing his best Wan’dale Robinson impression leaving defenders in the dust as he went in for the Colonels, making it a one-score game.
The third nominee comes from the Paris game. Who said 1A teams don’t throw the ball?! Kaden Fredrick threw to Jakari Ransom who came down with it. And highlighted some good sportsmanship after the catch as they said good battle.
