LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Region 11 boasts some of the most talented high school basketball teams in the area, with Tuesday’s games just another example of that.

Henry Clay entered the day in first place and remained there with a 59-56 road win at Frederick Douglass. The Blue Devils improve to 12-3 on the season, 6-2 in Region 11 and 3-1 in the 42nd district.

Paul Laurence Dunbar has worked its way up the standings with a 6-0 record in region play, despite a 6-7 record overall. The Bulldogs took down Henry Clay, 46-39 for a big road win.

Up in Scott County, Great Crossing continued its strong play with a fourth straight win, taking down Franklin County, 64-51 at home. The Warhawks improve to 11-3 overall and 6-2 in region play.

On the girls side, George Rogers Clark has put together a dominant season and remains atop the Region 10 standings with a convincing win over Bourbon County, 54-15. The Lady Cardinals improve to 13-1 on the year.
