LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – The opponents were set, and now the dates are in stone for Kentucky football’s 2023 season. The Wildcats will open up the year by hosting Ball State on Sept. 2, 2023.

The schedule starts out with three non-power 5 opponents with EKU and Akron following up Ball State. The SEC schedule begins after that on Sept. 23 when UK heads to Vanderbilt for their first road game of the season.

For the first time since 2013, the Wildcats will host Alabama on Nov. 11. The regular season finale will be on Nov. 25, with Louisville, the usual rivalry week opponent.
