LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Former Kentucky quarterback Will Levis impressed scouts at the NFL combine last month, and did so again at Kentucky’s Pro Day on Friday at Nutter Field House on campus.
Scouts from all 32 NFL teams were in attendance to check out Levis and 10 other Wildcats hoping to hear their names called in the NFL Draft next month. 63 total representatives were in attendance when counting front office personnel and coaches.
“It was good, it went well, had a lot of fun I mean the last time I’m gonna be able to throw in a setting like that to my guys to my old receivers I had last year and Chris obviously so great opportunity for them to get in front of the scouts as well and I thought we all did a great job,” Levis said.
The two-year Kentucky starting quarterback is projected as a top-10 pick in the draft, with some mock drafts having him picked in the top-five and even with the first pick. The Carolina Panthers were in attendance and hold the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft.
“Yeah I’m pretty much, yeah I have some visits but it’s pretty much done I’ve got a month and then I figure out where I’m going so it’s a big weight off the shoulders and I feel like this is gonna be the longest month of my life so we’ll see,” Levis said.
The NFL Draft will be held from April 27-29 in Kansas City.
