LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – More sunshine is on the way, but the cold air still remains.

At 18 degrees, this morning was the COLDEST morning at Lexington Blue Grass Airport, for example, since March 13.

Tonight will be even colder with lows in the middle teens. Brrr!

On Sunday, the sunshine will be deceiving, once again, as you look out the window, hoping for warmer air to take hold, but it will not. Highs on Sunday should top off only in the mid-30s.

Sunday night, clear skies continue with lows near 20 degrees

And on Monday, look for full sunshine again with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
