LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – Fall is in the air!
After a chilly start to the day temperatures will climb into the upper 60s and low 70s for highs. We will see increasing clouds as we go through the day.
If you’re heading to high school football games this evening it will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of some sprinkles as a disturbance heads our direction. Temperatures will be falling through the 60s, so it will be pleasant.
A mostly cloudy sky overnight will keep temperatures from dropping as much as last night. It will be cool with lows in the 50s.
A warm front approaches the area on Saturday with a small chance for isolated showers, especially during the morning.
While a slight chance of a shower will continue into the afternoon, the chance will be slight. We’ll see a partly sunny sky during the afternoon as temperatures warm into the mid to upper 70s.
Another cold front pushes through the state on Sunday. This brings a chance for spotty showers, but most remain dry.
Another shot of cooler air moves in behind the front. Temperatures will be cool most of next week with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.
