LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A cold front pushes south this morning bringing some isolated showers. Otherwise, it’s a cloudy morning with areas of dense fog. The fog will gradually burn off through the morning.
By the afternoon, it remains mostly cloudy in the wake of the cold front, but I still can’t rule out spotty showers, mainly across southern Kentucky. Temperatures will likely stay in the 70s for most locations this afternoon.
Partial clearing takes place tonight as some drier air works in on a northerly wind. That will set the stage for a more pleasant night with lows in the low 60s.
A disturbance coming out of The Plains could bring an isolated shower to the state on Tuesday, but most of the region stays dry.
Rain chances remain low through Thursday, with an uptick in chances into next weekend as another disturbance heads our way.
