LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Spotty showers come to an end this morning with a mix of sun and clouds expected during the afternoon. Not only will it be a much cooler day, but it will also be less humid, especially by this afternoon. Temperatures this afternoon will be in the lower 70s in most spots.
With a mainly clear sky, light wind, and low humidity, temperatures overnight are going to be downright chilly. Expect lows in the 40s.
High pressure will bring us nice weather for most of Friday, but a disturbance comes in late in the day bringing increased clouds and a small chance of sprinkles or isolated showers.
A little better chance for showers rolls into the state with a cold front on Sunday. Behind that front is another push of cooler air as we kick off next week.
