LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Grab a jacket, you’re going to need it again today. The good news though, temperatures will be warmer than yesterday as highs reach the lower 50s under a mostly sunny sky.

With a light wind and a mainly clear sky, it will get colder tonight with lows in the 20s for most. So, make sure you cover up your plants or bring them indoors.

We’ll see some scattered clouds move through the region on Thursday, but it will be another nice day as temperatures continue to climb.

A big warm-up is in store for the area this weekend with highs back in the 70s and dry weather continuing.

Our first chance for showers comes next Tuesday and Wednesday.
