LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Spotty showers are possible this morning, mainly across northern Kentucky. A cold front will push into the state this afternoon with the chance of a shower or two still possible. Temperatures will warm into the low to mid-80s and it will be more humid.

The weak front will pretty much wash out across the state on Tuesday, but it could still kick off an isolated shower. It will be a warmer day with highs in the upper 80s.

Summer’s last hoorah arrives on Wednesday as temperatures climb into the lower 90s under a mainly sunny sky.

A strong cold front pushes through Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. The front will bring a few showers and much cooler air as Astronomical Fall begins on Thursday.
