LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Another nice day is on tap for the state. Scattered clouds roll into the area, especially across the northeastern half of Kentucky. Temperatures will be mild once again reaching the 60s in most locations, but some low 70s possible across the south.

Moisture increases overnight into Friday morning as a warm front nudges into Kentucky. That leads to a chance for scattered showers.

Showers will be possible off and on through the day Friday. Temperatures are highly dependent on the location of the warm front. Overall, most should warm into the 60s.

The warm front lifts north on Saturday setting the stage for a warmer weekend with highs in the 70s. Scattered showers and storms are possible on both days, but it won’t be a washout.
