LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Another day with clouds and a chance for spotty showers or snow showers. Temperatures won’t move many thanks to the clouds, expect highs in the upper 30s in most locations.

Partly to mostly cloudy conditions stick with us overnight with a few flurries possible. The number of clouds will determine how low the temperatures go.

Some clearing will yield the mid-20s, and more clouds will yield the upper 20s and lower 30s. Either way, cover up those plants as a freeze is possible.

We’ll see a little sunshine on Tuesday, especially heading into the afternoon. Temperatures will still be chilly with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.

We stand a better chance for a hard freeze Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as clouds move out and temperatures drop into the low 20s.

High pressure brings sunshine and milder weather for Wednesday.

By Thursday that high pressure will be moving east allowing a southerly flow to warm temperatures near 60, however, clouds will be on the increase.

Rain moves in Thursday night into Friday with another cold front.
