LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — We kick off the week with nice weather. Expect a mostly sunny start to the day, but clouds start to roll in during the afternoon and evening. Temperatures warm into the low 50s for highs.

With a mostly cloudy sky overnight, temperatures won’t get as cool; expect lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
A cold front works into Kentucky on Tuesday leading to a chance for showers during the afternoon, but this front won’t have a ton of moisture to work with.

The front stalls out across the state on Wednesday keep the chance for showers in the forecast.

A developing low pressure will drag another cold front through the state on Thursday. This brings our best chance for the rain of the week.

Another quick-moving disturbance moves in on Friday leading to rain showers. As colder air moves in behind the storm Friday night into Saturday, snow showers will be possible.
