LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The sunny, dry, and unseasonably warm temperatures continue today, with highs in the mid-to upper-80s.

Another pleasant night is on the way as temperatures drop into the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Summer-like heat is in store for the area one more day tomorrow, with highs back in the mid- to upper 80s. Clouds will be on the increase during the afternoon, but we stay dry.

A strong cold front sweeps across the state on Friday, bringing some scattered showers and falling temperatures.

Much cooler air moves in for the weekend when highs are in the upper 50s and lower 60s and overnight lows are in the 30s and 40s. Patchy frost is possible on Sunday morning.
