LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Hopefully you enjoyed the warm temperatures on Monday because it’s back to reality today. We’ll have afternoon temperatures in the low 50s across central Kentucky, while southern and southeastern Kentucky reach the mid to upper 50s.

We will start the day with more clouds than sunshine, but the clouds gradually break up this afternoon giving way to more sunshine.
Another disturbance will approach from the west late tonight into Wednesday bringing clouds back to the region. We could see some sprinkles or maybe a few flurries, but most stay dry.

The Next Big Thing we’re tracking is a better rain chance Thursday night into the first half of Friday.

Cooler and breezy conditions take hold in the wake of the front passing through.
