LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — High pressure is going to provide us with a beautiful day. Expect abundant sunshine and warmer temperatures in the low 60s.

Clouds will start to stream in this evening into the overnight as a cold front approaches from the north. Those clouds should keep temperatures a little warmer overnight.

Partly sunny to mostly cloudy conditions occur at times on Saturday as a cold front works into the region. I can’t rule out a few sprinkles, but most stay dry.

The front will be south of the region on Sunday, but it will still be pleasant with highs in the low to mid-60s under a mix of sun and clouds.

Warmer days are in store for the state as we kick off next week. Highs could reach the low 70s in some spots. Rain chances enter the forecast next Tuesday.
