LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — It has been a nice stretch of weather over the past several days, and that is going to continue.

The latest drought monitor shows abnormally dry conditions for much of the state. Unfortunately the next several days look dry.

Today will be similar to yesterday, with a little more cloud cover. Highs will reach the low 80s with a mix of sun and clouds. Someone could see a sprinkle today, especially in our western counties. Overall, it’s staying dry.

Tonight will be similar to the past few nights. Lows will fall into the mid and upper 50s slightly cooler out in eastern Kentucky, under partly cloudy skies.

Both Friday and the start of fall on Saturday look beautiful with sunshine and mild temperatures.

Rain chances are possible Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Right now, confidence remains low, so we will continue to watch this in the days ahead.
