LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Rain chances decrease through the morning, with only an isolated shower or two possible this afternoon. Clouds will be slow to break up this afternoon, which will keep temperatures below average. The longer it takes for the clouds to exit, the cooler it will be. Some will struggle to get out of the 70s.

Clouds will decrease overnight as fog develops. Temperatures drop into the 60s.

Temperatures start to climb Friday, with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s under a mix of sun and clouds. I can’t rule out an isolated shower.

A front drops south over the weekend, bringing another chance for scattered showers and storms. Not everyone will see rain, and the weekend will not be a washout, but it will be warm and muggy with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s.

Cooler and less humid air will move in next week, with lows in the 50s for many.
