LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Another nice day on tap for the region with a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures climbing into the upper 70s and lower 80s. There is a slight chance for a pop-up shower during the heating of the day, but most stay dry.

Any isolated showers will fizzle out after the sunsets leaving us with a few clouds overnight. Lows fall into the 50s once again.

Warm temperatures and mostly dry conditions are expected again on Wednesday. Highs warm into the low 80s under a partly cloudy sky.

A cold front pushes south Wednesday night, which could bring an isolated shower, but as the daytime heating fades, the shower chance drops.

The Next Big Thing is a cold front that ushers in lower humidity and cooler temperatures for the end of the week.

We’re tracking a low pressure that could bring some spotty showers over the holiday weekend.

Uncertainty remains with respect to the track of this low pressure, therefore we’re keeping rain chances small until models have a better agreement. Don’t cancel outdoor plans yet!
