LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) – After a cold Sunday, it’s only going to get colder overnight. Expect temperatures right around 20 degrees overnight and first thing Monday.

Some areas will dip down in the teens, especially in areas of eastern Kentucky. Wind chills could be in the teens and some single digits to start Monday morning.

Then the “Next Big Thing” is the warm-up. Highs Monday afternoon will top out around 50 degrees with clear skies.

Temperatures only go up from there. We could reach the low 70s by Thursday with rain returning for the middle and end of the week.
