LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After a cold and dreary day Sunday, not much is going to change overnight. The cloudy skies will stick around, and there’s the chance for some mist and drizzle.

Monday will be another cold day with mostly cloudy skies. A few scattered light snow showers are possible. Expect high temperatures in the upper 30s, right around 40.

The next big thing will be the hard freeze Monday and Tuesday nights. Temperatures both nights will reach the low 20s. Then by midweek, temperatures start to climb. We could be pushing 60 by Thursday before our next system starts to work its way in Thursday night into Friday.
