LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — It was another snowy start for some with a fresh layer of snow in southeastern Kentucky this morning. We did warm temperatures back above freezing Thursday, but more cold is working in.

Temperatures drop into the teens overnight tonight with breezy winds from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph.

Wind chills drop into the single digits for Friday morning. Heavy jackets, gloves, and mittens are a must!

We’ll see plenty of sunshine Friday, but wind chills stay in the teens all day long. By Saturday morning, we’ll see another round of wind chills in the single digits.

By Saturday afternoon we warm up to the mid-40s. It’s only up from there. The 50s return by Sunday and we have a shot at 60 as early as Monday for parts of the Commonwealth. The next chance for any rain will be Tuesday.
