LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After a beautiful fall afternoon across the area, it is going to turn cold overnight.

Tonight, cover any sensitive plants or bring them in, as lows will fall to the mid-30s allowing for frost to develop.

For that reason, the entire FOX 56 News viewing area is under a Frost Advisory until 10 a.m. Monday.

After a frosty start Monday, high temperatures will make it back into the upper 60s, and a few areas could hit the low 70s with plenty of sunshine.

All eyes turn to the middle of the week when high temperatures jump above average to the mid-70s.
