KY weather tomorrow: Frosty start Sunday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — It was a much cooler day on Saturday, with highs only reaching the low 60s.

Saturday night is going to be a cold one. Overnight lows will reach the mid-30s with areas of frost, especially in the valleys and low-lying areas.

For that reason, the FOX 56 viewing area is under a Frost Advisory until 9 a.m. Sunday. Make sure to cover up or bring inside any sensitive plants.

Tips for protecting plants from frost:

The other story will be the wind chills. Overnight Saturday, windchills could reach the mid to low 30s.

After a frosty start, expect mostly sunny skies, with afternoon highs reaching the upper 50s to low 60s once again Sunday.

Our next chance of rain moves to Sunday night and into early Monday. It doesn’t look like much, but a few scattered showers are possible.
