LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After another hot day with highs near 90 degrees, we can expect much of the same for Labor Day.

Tonight should be mostly clear and mild across the region, with temperatures falling into the mid- to upper-60s.

Labor Day will be another hot and humid day, with highs in the low 90s under mostly sunny skies. It will be a great day to jump in the pool or head to the lake to celebrate.

The Next Big Thing we’re tracking is the chance for showers and storms on Wednesday and Thursday as a cold front passes through the area. This will bring cooler temperatures and lower humidity.

The 7-day forecast shows the heat sticking around for the next few days, then beautiful weather by the weekend.
