LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After a beautiful day Sunday, much-needed rain returns to the forecast to start the week.
But first, there are no problems around here tonight. Clouds will begin to increase overnight with lows falling to around 40 degrees.

Tomorrow showers begin to develop. It will not be a complete washout Monday but keep the rain gear handy.

Monday night into Tuesday rain becomes widespread. It could be heavy at times with gusty winds.


By the time all is said and done we could pick up between half an inch to an inch of rainfall with some locally higher amounts.

Sunshine returns for Thanksgiving but it will feel cooler with highs around 50 degrees.
