LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — With an approaching cold front from the west, there will be an increase in clouds tonight, along with developing showers and storms.
Some of those storms could be strong to severe on Sunday. Take note: some of those stronger storms could arrive early in the day.

Temperatures are likely to fall through the day, as the cold front moves from West to East. Highs will range from the mid 60s to lower 70s.
No tornadoes or hail are expected, but strong winds and locally heavy rain will be on the table for the Commonwealth on Sunday.

Gusts of wind on Sunday may approach 40 mph, apart from storms. By Monday, those wind gusts could range from 40 to 50 mph.

Temperatures are likely to warm up again by midweek…around 80 degrees, but then drop again by next weekend.
