LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — It was a warmer day across the Bluegrass Tuesday as high temperatures broke into the 80s. We’re heading for one more day with toasty temperatures before a cold front knocks us down into Memorial Day weekend.
Overnight temperatures fall into the mid-50s again with a partly cloudy sky. Wednesday we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds as high temperatures aim for the low to mid-80s. It will be the last 80 we see until after Memorial Day weekend.

A cold front rolls in late Wednesday night to bring us temperatures about 10 degrees cooler Thursday.
It will still certainly be pleasant as high temperatures remain in the low to mid-70s each day Thursday through Memorial Day. A few nights may get a little cooler with temps falling into the upper 40s at times.
MORE KENTUCKY NEWS:
The good news is most of the weekend looks dry. There will be a few slim chances Saturday through Monday to see some spotty rain showers.

A cutoff low will roam about the southern states which may kick up some rain for us here. It’s a terribly unorganized system, so we’ll see more dry time than anything else.
Chances remain pretty low for rain, but we’ll keep watching the trends into the weekend. Other than that, it should be a fantastic holiday weekend.
